Many of us look in the mirror and immediately compare ourselves to those perfect human specimens we see in magazines, on television and in the newspapers. Often we talk to ourselves and make excuses such as "It is my genes", "I am much too busy to get fit", "I like myself this way", as a way of protecting ourselves from the way we see ourselves now and the way we want to be.

 

If we were to be truly honest with ourselves, most people actually want to lose a few pounds. If we only knew how.

 

The good news is that you CAN achieve your desired body shape with the right thinking about yourself, an understanding of how to get optimal nutrition, healthy eating habits and how to incorporate activity into your lifestyle to keep your muscles toned. However, most important of all, you need a regular mental workout to keep your self-image in shape

Just by incorporating these eight tips, you can drastically transform your body. I know when I first discovered them, they seemed arbitrary or silly to me. But they work. So, do yourself a favor, liberate your self-image and then see how much more effective your healthy living plan becomes!

 

You will either feel empowered in your body--feel as though your body belongs to you, embrace your changes, release your weight and love who you are OR you will be the same weight you are now with the same mindset--still waiting around for some weight loss/body image improvement miracle to come around.
